2/28 Dakota 12 Support Structure:
* Support frame is all welded, heavy duty tubular steel.
* 4” support frame extension between the aggregate storage and the aggregate batcher.

2/28 Dakota 12 Aggregate Storage Section:
* Two equal compartments with the center divider hinged for easy transportation.
* Lower storage section is welded construction with 1/4” plate on sloped sides.
* (3) heavy duty boxed clamshell type gates with 3/8” material edge plate and replaceable grease
type pivot-pins, brass bushings and precision cut gears, per compartment.
* (2) 4” x 8” air cylinders and solenoid for each compartment. Third gate is mechanically linked.
* Air hose and fittings are factory installed from the solenoid valves to the aggregate gates.
12 Cubic Yard Aggregate Batcher:
* NTEP certified hopper.
* Constructed of 3/16” plate on the vertical sides and 1/4” plate on the sloped sides.
* (1) heavy duty boxed clamshell type gate with 3/8” material edge plate and replaceable grease
type pivot-pins, brass bushings and precision cut gears, per compartment.
* (2) 4” x 8” air cylinders and an inching valve for greater control of material flow.
* (1) proximity switch confirms the gate is closed.
* (1) pneumatic vibrator, mounted on the rear of the batcher.
* 4 x 15K, NTEP certified, load cell system with a rated scale capacity of 40,000 lbs., includes
(4) S-beam style load cells and summing box.
* Test weight hangers installed at the factory.
* Shipping supports for load cell protection during transport.
* Air hose and fittings are factory installed from the solenoid valves to the aggregate batcher gate.
30” Aggregate Transfer Conveyor:
* Channel frame steel construction.
* 15 H.P.TEFC - 350 / F.P.M. – 675 T.P.H. drive motor with reducer and backstop.
* Rubber lagged head pulley with drive shaft and pillow block bearings.
* Wing type pulley with shaft, pillow block bearings and tubular screw take-ups.
* 4” / 35 degree CEMA “B” sealed idlers on 4’-0” centers with additional rollers in the material
impact zones.
* 4” CEMA “B” return rollers on 10’-0” centers.
* Conveyor belting is 2-ply with 3/16” top cover and 1/16” bottom cover.
* Gate length skirt boards with special “Wedge” style rubber flashing adjustment are factory
installed.
* Discharge head includes a water inlet, (6) admix ports, shroud and integrated belt wiper.
* Safety features include conveyor pulley guards and safety trip switch on both sides of the
conveyor.

Silo capacity - 1600 Cu. Ft. / 59.0 Tons / 400 BBL
Capacities are based on a cement weight of 74.0 lbs per cubic foot.
Dakota 12 Silo:
* (1) pressure relief valve.
* (1) 20” access manhole with bolt-on cover.
* (1) 4” pneumatic fill line with cam lock fitting and cap.
* Complete aeration system with full size air pads, solenoid and required plumbing. Aeration
components are replaceable from the outside.
* (2) 9” transfer screw conveyors with 20 H.P. TEFC drive systems for transfer of cement to
the batcher.
* Emergency slide gates for access to silo screw conveyors.
Dakota 12 Cubic Yard Cement Batcher:
* NTEP certified hopper.
* (1) 8” “Bray” butterfly discharge valve with actuator and an inching solenoid for material flow
control.
* (1) proximity switch confirms the gate is in closed position.
* Complete aeration system with full size pads, solenoid valve and required plumbing. Aeration
components are replaceable from the outside.
* (1) pneumatic vibrator is mounted on the batcher.
* (1) “Burper” combining aeration and vibration for improved material flow.
* 4 x 5K, NTEP certified, load cell system with a rated scale capacity of 10,000 lbs., includes
(4) double ended shear beam load cells and summing box.

Dakota 12 - Air Specifications:
* 10 H.P. / 120 gallon Ingersoll-Rand air compressor with ¾” outlet, pre-wired starter and
complete air piping.
* Air Compressor is mounted on fifth wheel access platform for easy access.
* A weather tight NEMA enclosure for Main plant solenoids. All solenoids are plumbed in and
exhaust lines routed out of the enclosure. Each valve is equipped with a “Quick” cut-off to allow
the customer isolation of the individual valves for easy maintenance.
* Enclosure is mounted on fifth wheel access platform for easy access.
* Air system comes with a ¾” oversized air filter, regulator and lubricator.
* Air system complete from air compressor to all pneumatic equipment on the plant.
Dakota 12 Hydraulic Self Erection:
* Raises the plant silo and aggregate transfer conveyor into operation position.
* Includes 110 volt hydraulic power unit, 1 H.P. pump, 15 gallon reservoir and control valves.
* (2) 3 stage telescoping hydraulic cylinders.
Dakota 12 - Water Specifications:
* 3” turbine type water meter with electronic scalable transmitter and pulse head.
* 3” inlet water strainer with replaceable screen.
* 3” “Bray” butterfly discharge valve with pneumatic actuator and solenoid valve.
* Complete piping to discharge head.
Dakota 12 – Electrical Specifications:
* Wiring from the solenoid valves to a NEMA 12 enclosed panel located on the fifth wheel access
platform for easy access, is factory installed.
* The main fused disconnect and motor starters with thermal overload protection are wired to
each motor.
* All equipment is wired and tested prior to shipment.
